YouTube is incredible. Free education from the best teachers in the world. Khan Academy, 3Blue1Brown, countless professors sharing their knowledge. So why would you pay for anything else?
Here's the thing: YouTube talks at you. It can't hear you.
The pause-rewind loop
You're watching a calculus video. The teacher says something that doesn't click. You pause. Rewind 10 seconds. Still doesn't click. Rewind again. You've now watched the same 30 seconds five times and you still don't get it.
What you actually need is to say "I don't understand the part where..." and have someone explain it differently. YouTube can't do that.

Every YouTube video is made for everyone. But you're not everyone. You have specific gaps, specific confusions, specific ways you learn best.
